Therapy Intensives
ARE YOU:
Short on time, but want quick progress?
Having a hard time getting your child to therapy every week?
Engaged in traditional weekly therapy and it hasn’t been enough?
Worried about how your child or teen will manage socially and emotionally this summer?
Finding yourself having more time for therapy when the busy school year ends?
A THERAPY INTENSIVE WILL HELP!!
What Are Therapy Intensives?
Therapy intensives are structured, extended therapy (3-hour) sessions designed to provide deep, uninterrupted time for healing. Unlike traditional weekly therapy, intensives allow you to immerse yourself in therapeutic work over the course of one or more days, creating the space needed for profound breakthroughs and lasting change.
Why Choose an Intensive?
Faster Progress – Address deep-rooted challenges in a condensed timeframe.
Personalized & Focused – Customized to your specific needs and goals.
Ideal for Busy Schedules – Avoid months of weekly sessions with a more efficient approach.
Healing in a Safe Space – Step away from daily stressors and focus on your well-being.
Our intensives are led by licensed and experienced therapists who specialize in anxiety, family dynamics, DBT, and emotional wellness. Whether you're seeking individual transformation, family healing, or essential coping skills, we are here to support your journey!
Types of Intensives We Offer:
Individual Therapy Intensives:
For teens, young adults or adults looking to address Anxiety, Depression, or Executive Functioning, our individual intensives provide a highly personalized and immersive healing experience.
Exposure Therapy – an evidence-based therapy that helps anxiety by gradually exposing individuals to feared situations in a safe environment, ultimately reducing avoidance and fear.
Executive Functioning Skill-Building for ADHD – creating and instilling skills like planning, organization, time management and focus ultimately leads to better academic and social functioning
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - teaches how to challenge and change unhelpful thought patterns that lead to emotional distress, ultimately improving overall well-being.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) - provides skills to help manage emotions instead of being managed by them, reducing vulnerability to negative emotions, and building positive emotional experiences
Teen Individual DBT Skills Intensive (Ages 13-17):
Does your teen experience intense emotions, mood swings, or difficulties managing distress? Our DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Skills Intensive is designed for teens who prefer a personalized, one-on-one experience.
This intensive program condenses months of traditional DBT training into a focused, engaging format, giving teens the tools they need to thrive.
Your teen will learn and practice essential DBT skills, including:
✅ Emotional Regulation – Understanding and managing big feelings
✅ Distress Tolerance – Coping with stress and crisis situations in healthy ways
✅ Interpersonal Effectiveness – Navigating friendships, family relationships, and conflicts
✅ Mindfulness – Becoming more present and self-aware
For teens who prefer a personalized, one-on-one experience, our Teen Individual DBT Skills Intensive offers a tailored approach to building essential coping skills.
