Anavi is a Licensed Social Worker who enjoys working with adolescents, children, and families. She received her bachelor’s degree from The College of New Jersey in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. After working as a kindergarten teacher for a year, Anavi went back to school to earn her Master’s in Social Work which she through Rutgers University, following a clinical path. Anavi also completed a certificate program in Promoting Child and Adolescent Well-Being. For the past few years, Anavi has worked as a school social worker, focusing on helping elementary and middle-school students learn positive coping strategies in order to thrive in the classroom and at home.
Anavi truly believes that no two of her clients will ever be the same. She takes the time and effort to build a positive rapport with her clients and their families in order to form a relationship of honesty and trust. This not only helps her collaborate with her clients, but it shows them that they can be true to themselves, which pushes them to achieve their goals and improve their lifestyles. Anavi’s patient and calm demeanor aid her in working with children dealing with ADHD/ADD, anxiety, and depression.
